COVID-19 Message

Currently the North Bay Indigenous Hub is operating under restrictions due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, this includes both the Primary Care Services and the Child Care Centre.

Primary Care Services

  • All services are by appointment only.
  • Most appointments will be done by telephone or virtual means.
  • If you are booked an appointment for a face-to-face visit with one of the Primary Care Staff:

– You must wear a face mask, if you do not have one then one will be provided at the door
– You will be screened prior to your appointment by answering a few questions on the telephone.
– When you arrive for your appointment we ask that you come on time and not early, as a staff member will come down to let you in the locked doors at the time of the appointment.
– The entrance for Primary Care is on the West side of the building through the gated entrance. There will be posted signage on both the parking lot and entrance door.
– If you require assistance with mobility and can not use the stairs please notify our staff BEFORE you come for your appointment.
– Our staff will do our part to protect you by wearing appropriate protective equipment and by performing extra cleaning before and after appointments.

Child Care Services

  • The child care is up and running with extra precautions such as increased cleaning, smaller classrooms, modified programming and separation between children and staff in different cohorts.
  • Separate entrance from the Primary Care Services, the Child Care entrance is at the front of the building.
  • Screening for symptoms of COVID-19 everyday for all children and caregivers at time of drop off in the morning.
  • Employees will also be screened each day prior to beginning work.
  • Parents/Care givers dropping off a child will only be permitted in the front lobby not into the Child Care Centre.
  • Please see the Child Care section for instructions if you would like to register a child
  • Once a child is registered for Child Care further instructions and information will be given to the parent/caregiver.
